The Triangle Area Middle School Football Supervisors of Officials may vary from county to county.

Any football official desiring to officiate at the middle school level in the Triangle area, must be registered with Triangle Sports Officials, LLC and Steve McNeill.

To register for the up coming middle school football season, please click on the following site and complete your registration. If you choose to pay online, follow the link in that form to complete your payment.

Middle School Officials have to register with the NCHSAA just like high school officials. It is recommended that all school football officials attend clinic and scrimmages, regardless of the level they may be officiating. As such, Below is the information sent out to all high school officials from Steve McNeill. Middle School officials should read and attend every event as possible to improve their officiating skills as they prepare for the up coming season.

Let’s get registered with the NCHSAA and TFOA ASAP

I need to know who is definitely planning on officiating this fall so I can delete the names of individuals that do not plan on officiating. This will save the association money on the subscription we have for Arbiter. That cost is well over $1,500 for our number of officials. The amount could reach $1,900 if everyone in the list officiates. The association does not need to pay for those that decide not to officiate.

Middle School Football for Wake, Johnston, Harnett, Lee, and Durham Counties

The Triangle Football Officials Association (TFOA) is the only association for High School Officials that officiate the Triangle Region of NC. Middle Schools in this area must also be assigned through an approved supervisor of officials. Either Steve McNeill, or someone he has approved to assign a designated area for him
